Hi, I’m Dan J. Pasuengos. I build, design, and experiment—mixing hardware, software, and creativity. From tech prototypes to DIY projects, my work is all about making ideas real.

Projects

Marauder Mini ESP32-based Penetration Testing Tool

Firmware by JustCallMeKoko 2025

A portable penetration-testing device built for under $12 (original ≈ $90), using the open-source ESP32 Marauder firmware for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth analysis.

Laura Link-32 Communication Device

Undergrad Thesis (AY ’24–’25) – Prototype

An ESP32 + LoRa powered off-grid communication device with a smartphone-accessible chat interface for disaster resilience.

Home Automation Model

IoT with ESP8266 2023

Developed a smart home prototype controlled by a custom web app. The project uses an ESP8266 to enable wireless control of lights and other home appliances.

RC Airboat

RC Hobby 2022

Designed and built a remote-controlled vessel demonstrating the principles of air propulsion. The flat-bottom hull and air rudder system allow it to navigate shallow water, mud, and grass with ease.

RC Outrigger Hydroplane Prototype

RC Hobby 2021

Designed and built a prototype for a high-speed remote-controlled outrigger hydroplane. The project focused on testing a custom hull design and power system to achieve maximum speed and stability. Optimizing on propeller vs air thrust.

"HERO" RC Racing Craft

RC Hobby 2020

Designed and built a custom remote-controlled racing boat with a focus on speed, budget, and aesthetics. The project involved selecting a cost-effective power system, ensuring a lightweight and agile design, and optimizing the propulsion for maximum performance. See Full...

About Me

I am Dan Jacob, a computer engineering graduate and a maker at heart.

My background gave me the tools to experiment with electronics, coding, and design, but what excites me most is creating projects that turn imagination into reality. I enjoy building, learning, and sharing the process. Beyond engineering, I’m also exploring product design and content creation.
